This picture is painful to see-- but it's what we deal with in rescue. We are going to try to help this puppy. Louie, a 9 month old Peke who was put in a shelter after his owner had a grand mal seizure. The relatives did not want to take care of him-- and he had just had eye surgery. My concern is that they did not bring his meds with him.
Instead, they took him to a shelter instead of caring for him for his owner. His eyes are in terrible shape, but he is very young, and super super sweet. It's really sad that he was just dumped. If you want to donate to his care, please go to our website. We'll do all we can do help him!

Poor little soul...prayers for his swift and complete recovery and for his journey back to health and a forever home.
That is just so sad!! Glad you rescued him. Hopefully he'll feel better soon!

Poor poor Louie. He is a beautiful dog. I am sure he is so confused. To have just had eye surgery and then be stuck in a shelter???? He is in my prayers!!!
That is disgusting that the family would do that. Unbelievable how cruel people can be.

That is shocking that someone could do that to this poor little guy right after surgery! Thank goodness he will get the love & care he deserves now!
OMG, That is so painful to see and so heartbreaking. OMG....I want so badly to hear this baby gets a great home and much love and care.
