MOXIE—THREE YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Moxie came into rescue three years ago.
She had been saved by someone but they couldn’t keep her and asked us for help.   Moxie had some mobility issues but that didn’t stop her.
She was 12 at the time.  She didn’t look it and she doesn’t look 15 now. 💖
She loves her doggy siblings and her family.
Happy third anniversary!   Sweet girl. 🌷

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PIPER AND PADDINGTON

Four years ago, Piper and Paddington came into rescue.   They were almost 3 and 4.
Their owner went into the hospital and could no longer care for them.
They came to my house for fostering.
They were both so cute.   And Paddington was good.
(He became "bad Pad" later LOL.)
He even came to the picnic that year, 2019.    Yes, that's me with pre-Covid hair.   (Now it's MUCH lighter-- almost white and I love it.)
Paddington loved it here and my husband fell in love with him.
In all the years of rescue, Matt has never asked to keep a dog but he did this time.
That face did it.
So, this bonded pair became members of our family.   (And yes, I paid the adoption fee for them, just like anybody else who would have adopted them. )
Paddington often helps with my morning reading.  Piper is on the ottoman guarding the yard.  Squirrels may invade.
They had to stay together, and they are still always close to each other and playing.  The loud playing as we get up can be a little much.  LOL

Piper is now 8 and Paddington is 7.   HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PIPER AND PADDINGTON!!!

WELCOME PAULEE

PAULEE

Paulee, formerly PeeWee, came into rescue after his owners passed away.
He took a car ride from West Virginia to Richmond, VA to a foster home.
He is precious and about 15 pounds.
He just turned 6 years old in December.    He was nervous but is settling in well.
He will be neutered and get medically current w all we do.   Then he will be ready for adoption.   WELCOME TO RESCUE PAULEE! ❤️

ACE AND SUNDAY

Ace came into rescue 2 1/2 years ago.   He needed medical care and he thrived.  Look at him now!   He’s getting older and has some arthritis now but he is loving his life.  He’s  relaxing on this Sunday!  HAPPY SUNDAY!

DALLAS AND LEX ADOPTED!

Dallas and Lex came into rescue six months ago.  Their owner had died and her daughter traveled for work so she asked us for help.
We were glad to step in.   They were adopted yesterday and already love their new home.  Chasing a toy on the porch is fun!!
What makes this even MORE special is that their adoption day was their first mom's birthday.  It's like she threw a kiss from heaven to them, saying how happy she was that they would be so loved.   HAPPY ADOPTION!!

TUK TUK HAS COMPANY

Tuk Tuk took care of most of my dogs while I took a few days away.   Zoey went with me, but Tuk Tuk had the rest.   He tried to keep Paddington in lie, but.....
Paddington had to show his "bad Pad" side.
Tuk Tuk said "sorry sorry."   Poor Tuk!
Paddington settled for a belly rub.   Sissy loved it there-- and Piper had fun, too.   Callie and Barty rounded out the crew.
We all got home safely-- and they are all taking time to rest.  Me, too.

ZOEY TRAVELS

Zoey went on a trip w us.  I can’t leave her because she is so attached to me.
She got stuck by the luggage.   She will tell you about the other dogs later.  She won’t tease them for not going with us.  She’s a good sport.   She’s a very pampered girl. 💖💖

HAPPY SUNDAY FROM TUK TUK

Tuk Tuk never gives up a chance for a treat.  Goldfish is just fine.  Thank you very much.
“What else can I get into?”   The Pekingese tornado is ready for an adventure!
Granger disagrees.   He’s all for Sunday vegging.   Me too!! What about you? 😁

CLANCEE MARIE SAYS HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY

Clancee sounds like an Irish name.   Don't you think she's cute with her shamrocks on?
She has an Irish scarf on, too.
She says HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!  ☘

BAXTER AND MIMI-- GEORGIA DOGS NOW

Baxter and Mimi came into rescue in August 2022.
Their owner was sick and could no longer care for them.
They came to us from a shelter and were so sweet.
They were adopted to friends of mine who had adopted before.   Their Max had passed away and they missed having a Peke.
Baxter likes to get in the bathtub.  We don't know why.  LOL
He also helps with the dishes.  What a good boy.
While he helps, Mimi plays with toys.   She's just fine letting Baxter do the hard stuff.
She also is very attached to her dad.   She is definitely a daddy's boy.
They both love him-- of course, they love their mom, too.  She's the one taking the pictures.
These two now live in Georgia and their mom sends me updates.  They couldn't have a more perfect home.  💗💙
