These two came from a back yard breeder and have lived in confinement their whole lives. We are changing that! They will be in foster homes and given a chance at a brand new life.
Look at this face! Scotty is a true albino Peke-- very rare! He is 8-9 years old, and very sweet. He weighs about 16 1/2 pounds.
We will be taking care of all their medical needs and then they will be ready for adoption. If you are interested in any of our foster dogs, please email me at haveninhim@aol.com.

Linda the Blogger:
Some of you know me and some don't. To some, I'm "Must Love Pekes" blogger. But, I am actually more than that-- just like the rest of you.
I'm married to Matt, an incredible man. I wrote a blog on him last week. Here he is when we went to the Biltmore Estates. We actually have a life beyond Pekingese. :-) Sounds like blasphemy!

I'm mom to the two most wonderful daughters in the world. Here's my youngest, holding one of my grandgirls. And here I am holding those precious grandgirls!! Being a grandmother is the BEST job in the world! Maggie is posing with us.
And here I am with my oldest daughter, the mother of my grandgirls. It looks like we planned to dress the same!
And here are the grandgirls.
I have an incredible life-- loving husband, wonderful kids and grandkids. I have two incredible sisters. I went to Vermont to visit on of them. She lives near Lake Champlagne. It's beautiful up there!! My other sister lives right next door! How cool is that! (And one of my daughters lives down the street-- we're taking over the neighborhood!)
And sometimes I just travel to "the farm" where my older daughter lives. And I take the Pekes, and the foster Pekes and we get to visit HER Pekes and her two big dogs. Life is good on the farm!
And sometimes, I just stay home-- most of the time, I just stay home! I love my home. And I work on this blog. And my husband grabs the camera and takes my picture. You know, I don't have to put the horrible pictures on this blog haha. I don't like pictures of myself-- is that a woman thing??
He got this picture of me blogging. Maggie is helping me to write. Of course she is! She can do that with her eyes closed, planted next to my side. Really!! SHE CAN!
Starlight is making sure everything is done right. She's probably wondering why Maggie is right next to me, but hey, sometimes, you have to share the foster mom! It's just part of life.
I love fostering these Pekes. It's the best. I even asked for a pay raise and they gave me one! (Of course, all of you know, we all do it for free because we love the Pekes, but it made me feel better to know I could get a raise!)

And if you're reading this blog, like me, you MUST LOVE PEKES, too!
It's a pleasure and an honor having you as a friend♥
ReplyDeleteI love having you as a friend!!

I love all the photos of the Pekes and family! You are all very blessed. Scotty is a very interesting Peke -- I adore his pinky-pink nose. I've never seen a true albino before. Is he the one who was rescued from the backyard breeder? I wish all the best for him and Tess -- what cuties!
