An Australian Gift

I HATE TO TELL EVERYONE THIS, BUT WE CANNOT TAKE IN ANY NEW FOSTERS BECAUSE WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO WHERE TO PUT THEM. I HAVE INQUIRIES ASKING FOR HELP WITH SEVERAL RIGHT NOW. TWO BROTHERS, AGES 5 AND 6, WHOSE OWNER DIED AND THERE WERE NO CHILDREN TO TAKE THEM. ONE PRECIOUS PEKE IN TAPPAHANNOCK, VA WHO NEEDS HELP-- HE'S ONLY 19 MONTHS OLD, BUT CANNOT BE AROUND CHILDREN. MORE WILL COME AND I'VE HAD TO TELL SHELTERS IN MY AREA THAT I CANNOT TAKE THEM. IF ANY OF YOU KNOW ANYONE WHO CAN FOSTER, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I HATE TO TURN DOWN THESE PRECIOUS DOGS WHO NEED HELP SO BADLY.

Remember Moi Moi and Kenzo-- from Australia? They were on the post last week. Melinda and I email a lot-- I was so surprised when she sent me a gift.
There was a hat that said, "Kangaroo, Australia."
I tried the hat on Max--he had the Koala and Kangaroo by his side.
He wasn't impressed.
He hid under the hat!
Scooter thought it was pretty cool, though! Look at that handsome face.
And lots of tiny Koalas! They can clip together with their arms.
There were little flags on each Koala-- I took them off and laid them in front. I know my grandgirls are going to love playing with these!!
They all sit on my desk, in a basket, just waiting for the grandgirls to arrive. I know the dogs would all love to play with them-- but I think I'll give the grandgirls first chance.

THANKS, Melinda!

  3. If we have foster homes, we can take more. We got a young male this week and had a volunteer to take him, which means we can help him. He is precious! I met him yesterday and picked him up and just fell in love. He'll be on later this week-- his name is Campbell.
