Ruby was originally a breeder release (legs too short, so she failed the breed standard) and fostered by a rescue in NC. They adopted her out once -- to a family who stuck her in the backyard during one of the hottest summers on record! What were they thinking?! Pekingese can not be left outside-- ever! They are people dogs-- not yard dogs. I'm amazed at the stupidity of some owners.
Moi Moi sends special wishes to Miss Ruby !!!
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see her in a loving home!!!!!!!!! She is so sweet.
How cute and tiny and sweet! I love Ruby!
ReplyDeleteAnother reason not to tie small dogs up in a yard is the danger it puts them in from larger animals/predators.
A friend's teenage son was the last to leave the house for school and forgot to bring their pomeranian back inside before getting on the schoolbus and sadly a coyote or something got him. It only takes one mistake...
Ruby is way too cute.....
ReplyDeleteRuby's mom here -- she is tiny! We're constantly amazed when we foster Pekes as to how small she is (only in physical stature, of course -- her personality is bigger than a Great Dane)! She is one of the kind and definitely the light of her daddy's eyes. :-)
ReplyDeleteRuby is SO tootnin'!!! I can tell how much she is loved.
