Jane is a Peke friend of mine who lives in NC. She wrote a poem about her two dogs-- but since I don't have pictures of them, I'll use the pictures I have. :-)
It's raining, it's pouring.
I wish I were snoring! (Maggie is above, she was adopted two years ago.)
they're hopping on and off the bed. (This is Douggy, new to rescue.)
My dogs... they do not give a "bleep." (This is my Cranberry.)
Why don't I have a private place? (This is my Scooterbug.)
His morning breath... not a rose. (This is Chester, just adopted.)
Nickie yaps and jumps and whirls,
All I can think is "what a girl."
All I can think is "what a girl."
One thing is sure... I am blessed. (This is Douggy again-- he's a sweet boy!)
THANK YOU, JANE, FOR SHARING YOUR POEM WITH US!
Love it!!!
ReplyDeleteScooter is one of the cutest dogs I have ever seen. What a sweet soul he is.
ReplyDeleteCute poem and great timing because I was awakened by a pom urgently bouncing around and whining in the bed at 3:30AM to go potty ~ he was persistent! It's easy for them to fall right back asleep, but I have to get my zzz's in before 6 AM when the alarm goes off. Thank goodness for the snooze button, but I did end up late for work:)
ReplyDeleteSo cute, and true! Love Scooterbug's tongue!
ReplyDeleteMy Scooterbug is SO CUTE-- but the tongue just doesn't fit in his mouth haha.
