ELVIS UPDATE

Elvis came into rescue in February and had to have surgery to remove a "tumor" which turned out to be over a pound of debris in his stomach. He was eating anything he could to stay alive.

Look at him now! He is doing so well and is ready for adoption. He has gained two much needed pounds and is a happy little boy.

He sees well enough to get around (he had untreated dry eye for years, but now his eyes are doing great). He looks like he wants to know what you are up to!

His hair is coming in and he's a special little dog. I'm so glad he came into rescue to have a chance for a wonderful life.
Click here: An Essential Spice for Dogs and Humans to Share I read this article that says that cinnamon is a good spice for dogs and humans alike. If you have ever tried this, let me know!

  1. YAY Elvis! Someone very lucky is about to have you sniff into their life.

If you are thinking about adding cinnamon to your daily routine, make sure it is CEYLON cinnamon. Indeed the benefits are manifold. I have it on my oats every morning, the Pekes on yogurt. Works wonders on dogs that have allergies or high levels of yeast.

  7. Will he always have poor eye sight? Will it get better in time or will he eventually be blind?

Have you got a potential parent for him yet?

  8. p.s.

So sorry, I wanted to say that it's wonderful that Elvis has been rescued - poor little thing having to eat sticks and stones for supper! I can't imagine my own peke surviving any amount of time out on the streets! I know he'd not last long!

Great that he got rescued and been treated.

  9. Elvis is still available for adoption. His sight won't get better, but now that he's getting drops for dry eye, he should be fine. He's a wonderful little boy!
