EMMIE

Emmie has come a long way from the very timid, thin Peke we took into rescue. Now she loves hanging out on the deck and playing with toys.

She's finished her surgeries, and she doesn't have to wear her e-collar any more. She's very glad about that.

She loves to hang out on my lap, and she can be very relaxed about it.

If I don't hold onto her, she'll just slide right off my lap!

Her hair is growing out, and she has a little spot on her head where it sticks up a bit-- it gives her charm.

Her foster brother, Jasper, is a beauty, too!! He was a rescue also. His mom saved him from the home he was in and now he is a happy, loving little boy.

Emmie has discovered toys and loves bringing out different ones. I'm glad I have a stash of them-- she plays with some no other Peke has played with.

She even played with a towel before she was about to have a bath.
