ST. LOUIS PEKES

I just received this update on Mishu-- Her new name is Precious and she is so loved. Her owner started to cry when she called about her. I looks like Miss Precious has her own toy horse. :-) To see the blog for the St. Louis Senior Dog Project, just go to:

Millie is a rescue friend in St. Louis. I haven't met her, but we have the same love of helping these dogs. Here are a mother-son who were rescued. Did that ice fall from the sky? It's cold enough. Their names are Mimi La-Rue and Tank.

Mishu was rescued from a puppy mill and now has a wonderful home where she can be cared for and loved.

Chachi was also rescued. These puppies could have been sent to pet stores or kept to continue breeding. Instead, they were rescued, and now can have wonderful futures.

Chyna was a tiny thing when she was rescued. But, now she'll grow up being loved-- she looks a lot like our Bobby Socks, who is going to his new home next week.

Thank you to Millie and those she works with who diligently help these dogs. I hope they all have a merry Christmas!
