TRAMP (formerly Pierre)

Little Tramp (formerly Pierre) came into rescue within days of dying. He is a young Peke male, but his health was critical. Lucinda, our vet in Roanoke, found out he has am enzyme deficiency and he has made a dramatic improvement. This is one of the first pictures we had of him.

He knew he was safe and began to relax as his body healed.

His bright personality began to show-- and he began to smile because he felt better.

This sweet boy has a wonderful personality. He will continue to need meds for the rest of his life, but he can have a "rest of his life" which is something he didn't have before.

He is in a foster home in Harrisonburg and loves his Peke girlfriends there. Tramp has turned in to a real go getter. He is running all over the place and wants to play with the girls all the time or jump up in your lap. His foster parents says he is a real pleasure. He is housebroken and no more than 2 years old.
Tramp is one happy boy now, healthy and active. Thank you to Lucinda Hodges, our vet in Roanoke and her husband, who stepped in to save him. We're so glad they did!
