Must Love Pekes is a blog for those who love Pekingese -- their looks, their antics, their personalities. It is written by me, Linda, and I have been rescuing Pekingese for over 20 years. Lots of them have come through our home. We have loved them all.

FAREWELL WILLOW
This beautiful little girl was Willow. I just "met" her mom through email. Willow would have been ten years old on January 8, 2012, but she passed away in December. Her mom thinks she was probably a puppy mill dog as she had many medical problems. Puppy mills breed indiscriminately, without care to health or problems of the dogs being bred. Many of the puppies suffer for this. Willow's mom would have done anything for her, but there was nothing she could do to save her. Willow loved to play in the snow and this picture was taken after she had been outside, having fun. She loved to jump in it! We are so sorry for your loss, Valerie. Rest in peace, sweet Willow.
So sad for you - your Willow sounded like a wonderful Peke :)

ReplyDeleteSo sorry for the loss of your baby. Such a beautiful girl!
ReplyDeleteI'm so very sorry. I'm glad Willow got to enjoy her life away from that horrid puppy mill and got to experience what life as a pet is really supposed to be like. Please accept my condolences and know that you have given Willow a good life.
