FAREWELL ELMO

Elmo was a dog that Tiffany and Mike rescued two years ago. Tiffany and Mike have a huge heart for dogs and are great foster parents for us. (They have Gizzy and Sebastian right now.) Elmo was a Fox Terrier that they took home from the shelter almost 2 years ago-- his owner had lost his wife and didn't feel he could take care of Elmo. Tiffany thought Elmo only had a month or so to live and he was very scared at the shelter. They took him home and gave him love and care for much longer than they thought they would have him. Elmo was about 15 years old and Tiffany said adopting him was one of the best and one of the most rewarding decisions she ever made. It made her realize that saving abandoned pets is what she really wants to do. They are going to miss this sweet boy. I know he was very special to them. Adopting senior dogs can be a wonderful thing for the dog AND the owner. Rest in peace, sweet Elmo.

  1. So glad Elmo's last two years were filled with lots of love and good care. I'm sure that's what extended his life. RIP Elmo!

  2. What a sweetie. Reminds me so much of our little Gizzie. She was a old girl who was dumped also. She loved us so.
Thank you for taking such good care of Elmo and loving him.
