My friend Cherry has taken in some of our senior dogs and given them so much love. Lovie was blind when she adopted her, and she died in April. (I did a blog on her on April 30.)
The last week has been especially hard. Her little Precious died yesterday of massive seizures. She was about 15 years old, and Cherry said she had the perfect name. She said Precious never gave her a bit of trouble.
Precious came to us from a shelter and she finally found the care she needed in Cherry's home.
Tiffany/Tappy was adopted from us also-- she had come to us as an owner turn in, coated with fleas and dirt. We cleaned her up and gave her a hair cut-- she was so cute!! She died last week. Losing two Pekes in a week, and another a month ago has been devastating for Cherry.
We are so very sorry-- but thank you for giving them such a loving home. Rest in peace Precious, Lovie and Tiffany.
That's so sad! Losing one is hard enough, but 3 in one month is devastating! So sorry for all her losses!
