Hi Everyone, Linda,
Would you please post Jesse's picture on the blog with a message that adopting a senior gentleman is wonderful! He has so much love to give that I just want to hug him close all the time.
He has so much love to give that I just want to hug him close all the time. He had his checkup Friday and the vet (Dr. Betterton) said his heart murmur was doing just fine. He gets his monthly heart medicine and flea medicine to keep him healthy and he is on a good brand of dog food. He has put on a couple of pounds which we need to do something about. He is SO lazy that I usually have to pick him up and walk him back to the house after he does his business!
He and Miss Audrey (the cat) are learning to coexist with my careful
chaperoning. She just mostly ignores him and he trails behind her until she
finally jumps up onto something high. So far he hasn't attempted to attack her,
but he seems to consider it! He thinks that any paper on the floor is his
personal toy (must have some billy goat in him!)
Love from Jesse (and his mom)
WE ARE SO GLAD HE HAS SUCH AN INCREDIBLE HOME!!
What a dear old gentleman he is and I am so happy he has a wonderful home!
