WE LOVE JEANNE!

Jeanne and I were talking yesterday-- she didn't know I was already planning this blog!   I hope everyone will take a moment to let Jeanne know how much she is loved and appreciated!
Jeanne has been part of our rescue group for 7 years.   We didn't know each other before she offered to foster and she and I have become great friends.     We both love Pekes-- here are some of Jeanne's and her fosters.
Jeanne and her husband, Bill, have done so much for our group-- she has loved, cared for so many.   Jeanne has done all kinds of fund raisers for us and she spends HOURS on her computer taking care of our web site, our facebook, correspondence.   She does so much and I appreciate it more than she can ever know.
She fostered Didi and adopted her-- she is Jeanne's heart dog.   Didi was at my house first, but my Cranberry and Didi did not get along.   (Jeanne "threatens" Didi when she misbehaves and tells her she is sending her back to me-- I know that would never happen!)
Jeanne has a twin sister, Janice, and she looks just like Jeanne!
In addition to rescue, Jeanne is a master gardener.  We are having our June meeting there on June 29, at 1:00, so if you are a member of Potomac Pekes, make sure you come.  You have the meeting to come to, friends to see, and the treat of being in  Jeanne's garden!
Jeanne's heart shows in everything she does.
Look at her vegetables, protected, cared for-- just like everything else Jeanne does.
If we have puppies, Jeanne's is the place for them to be to receive incredible care-- she has so much patience with these tiny ones.   These are Colby and Carter from the Bristol 18 group.
Last summer, we had puppies again-- and Jeanne cared for the mom and all the puppies until they were adopted.
Her new venture is chickens-- she loves it!    I don't know how she fit in one more thing!
Here she is with Gimmie, one of the fosters that she loved so much-- we could keep so many, but then we wouldn't be able to help the next one.   Please let Jeanne know how much she is appreciated and cared for.    Our rescue simply wouldn't exist without her.   Thank you, Jeanne, for all you do!   I'm so glad you are my dear friend.

  2. Gene, you have blessed our lives in so many ways as you give so much to help Pekes in need, nurse them back to health and help them understand what it means to be part of a family. Thank you for giving so much and Bill your continued support and patience.
