Hadley came from a shelter in NC where he was an "aggressive dog"-- sure he was. Not a mean bone in his body! His mom sent me an email and said it's been five months since they adopted him. They are so glad they did!
Here's what she said: "He has such a loving spirit! Over the past 6 weeks, I have REALLY seen his
personality come out. He is now playing with toys, and oh my is he excited when
I come home from work. His tail always wags, but now his whole lower half
wiggles when I get home :-). I think his all time favorite time of the week is
on the weekends, when he wakes up at 5:30am.
His dad gets him out of his playpen (in our bedroom) and brings him to bed. He is
overjoyed to be in the bed, and snuggles up and goes right back to sleep. He is
Jazzy's best friend and he totally respects Gimmie. What more could a pet owner
ask for? Hadley is not vicious...he just needed consistent love. He now trusts
us, and he is a perfect match for our pack. Oh, and by the way...we are ready to
remove the belly band. He hasn't had an accident in months :-). I hope more
people rescue. It is so rewarding. I love how this dog has proven he was worth saving. He is a blessing to our family. Shame on
his previous owners, but LUCKY us! Thanks PVRC!"
I LOVE UPDATES-- I'M SO GLAD HADLEY HAS THIS WONDERFUL, LOVING HOME!
What a wonderful story!
