RICKY AND HIS FRIENDS

Ricky, the Peke, came to me from Annapolis in the spring/summer of 2004.   Leigh picked him up for us at the shelter there, and he came to my home as a foster.   He was so sweet!   He was young, and did not have a mean bone in his body.   Here he is with his friend, LJ.

Here's Clover.  She is the newest addition to Ricky's family.   She is a Shih Tzu and shewas saved after her family no longer wanted her.    Dogs need more than just being fed.  They need love, and now she gets that in abundance.

Ricky was my foster along with Pandy, who lives with my daughter and is about 15 years old now.  (She is gray and losing her hearing, but she is still a big part of her family.)  Ricky is one of those that I'm so glad I still get to see and who I have updates on.  His mom is one of my best friends.  (And it's because of rescue that we became such good friends.)

LJ loves to play with Clover-- Ricky is almost 13 now so he doesn't have the energy that LJ has.  

After a long time playing, LJ and Clover are ready for naps.

Ricky is ahead of them, all curled up!   I hope to see Ricky in person soon!    I think it's time for a visit. :-)
