UPDATE; PEANUT'S FOSTER FAMILY IS GOING TO KEEP HIM-- I'M SO EXCITED FOR THEM!
Peanut is not really a senior-- he's about 8 years old, and that's really middle-age for a Pekingese. His owners turned him into a shelter in July, with horrible skin and fleas. He had no chance of adoption there.
We took him and he went right to the vet for help.
He went to Petey and Sugar's home for fostering. Petey and Sugar are both PVPC alumni!
They have a family with three boys and so much activity and fun.
Here is Peanut helping to make a carpet selection. It's really a hands-on job-- I mean paws on! (You saw that coming, didn't you!?)
His skin is so much better and his hair has grown in. He does need eye drops because his eyes were not cared for in his precious situation.
I think they are all waiting for dinner!
Look at that smile. He's so cute.
He is ready for a forever home-- let us know if you are interested in one of our seniors. I love them, they have so much love to give.
For now, Peanut is set! He's found his forever home.
November is National Senior Dog Month!
