Ollie came to us as a ten year old (we were told, but never know if that's right), who had not been taken care of. He found a place in Molly's heart very quickly.
Her husband even put "will you marry me" on a dog tag that Ollie was wearing.
Ollie has been having some health issues and today, he crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.
He was so sweet-- here he was with his brother, Zeke.
He was adored-- you can tell.
Here he was with his foster sister, Blossom.
Ollie had a wonderful life with his mom and dad. With the older ones, we don't know how long we will have with them, but they are worth every moment. I'm so glad Ollie had such an incredible 2 1/2 years with his family. Molly said, "This
morning Dan and I kissed and held Ollie as he passed
peacefully. Ollie was such a great part of the beginning our lives together as a
family. He taught us so much, and we will always look back fondly on the
memories of our little white dog. He was truly a blessing. Thank you Potomac Valley Pekingese Club for helping Ollie find love and comfort in
our home."
Molly, I know you will miss your boy. I'm so very sorry.
I am just so sorry for your loss .
ReplyDeleteOllie had a wonderful family in the end and that is a fabulous thing for a dog to have .
