Buffy came into rescue in 2009. She came from out of our area, but was in great need of rescue. We worked with another group to get her.
She was adopted by Ollie's family. She was wondering if he would like her.
She wanted to be his friend.
And they did become good friends.
Ollie was one of my fosters, so I wanted him to have the best sister we could give him, and Buffy couldn't have been a better fit.
Buffy always has the most beautiful harnesses on. She and Ollie are well dressed!
Buffy was diagnosed with bladder stones. Bladder stones can be VERY painful and cause a dog to have "accidents" in the house. (If your dog is doing this, please consider having a urinalysis done to see if there is an infection and/or stones--an xray may be needed.) Buffy had her surgery to remove them, and a stone analysis is being done to see what kind of food she needs to go on. There are several types of bladder stones, and a special food can help so that she doesn't get stones again.
You can learn more about this:
Buffy is recovering well and is back to her happy self. And she is taking a well-deserved nap!
I am so glad to read Buffy is doing better :)
