Phoebe--formerly Baby Girl-- came to us via a shelter in Maryland.
She was turned in by her owner's family-- her owner/mom had passed away and no one in the family would keep her beloved pet.
We were happy to help her and she was adopted into a wonderful home! Seniors may not have as long with you, but they have so much love to give.
She had special friends like Sybil and Ming-- Ming was her new brother, but they hung out with Sybil a lot, too.
Phoebe was loved so much and her new owner did a lot of medical care for her. She had eye cancer and she recovered well from surgery.
She had a wonderful year and a half. Her cancer returned though and she began to decline quickly. When there was nothing else to do for her, she was gently let go, with her mom holding her head.
I know your friends will miss you, but you are now out of pain. Run free, little Phoebe!!
So very sorry to read that Phoebe is gone. But she obviously knew she was dearly loved…..
