He was fostered by Barbara and her husband, Ty. Kacey became VERY attached to Ty, which pleased him immensely. There is nothing like a Peke who adores you! (All the rest had favored Barbara, but Kacey chose his dad!)
And Kacey really does idolize Ty-- so they decided that once Kacey's knee surgery was done, they would adopt him.
Kacey has had his surgery and is now recovering.
He has to wear the dreaded cone because he was licking his incision. I'm sure it itched a little.
Poor guy! Recovery is hard work.
