MY NALA

I am taking time off this week to adjust to losing Nala on Sunday.   My heart is shocked and sad.  I kept thinking she would rally.  The end came too quickly.   I love my girl.  💜❤️

    TRIBUTE TO A BEST FRIEND

    Sunlight streams through window pane onto a spot on the floor.....
    then I remember,
    it's where you used to lie, but now you are no more.

    Our feet walk down a hall of carpet, and muted echoes sound.....
    then I remember,
    it's where your paws would joyously abound.

    A voice is heard along the road, and up beyond the hill,
    then I remember,
    it can't be yours..... your golden voice is still.

    But I'll take that vacant spot of floor and empty muted hall,
    and lay them with the absent voice and unused dish along the wall.

    I'll wrap these treasured memories in a blanket of my love,
    and keep them for my best friend until we meet above.

    So glad you are taking some down time to deal with the loss of Nala. It did happen so fast and I can't even imagine the pain of that loss.

    Maybe there are people who don't understand how the loss of another person's much loved Peke can bring so much pain but believe me I do know.

    It's going to be hard not seeing tht sweet Angel's face every day.

    I'm so sorry to hear this. Sweet Nala was such a Precious Baby and we'll all miss her. She was so blessed to have you in her life and take care of and love her. My heart is broken to hear this. I'm always keeping y'all in my thoughts and prayers.
