SPRING IS COMING.

 Genghis and Papageno belong to Lara and her family. 

 Papageno had a lot of emotional issues when they got him.  Who knows what he had been through.
 But, he has settled down a lot now that he realizes he is safe and loved.

 They both went out with Lara to see if spring was coming.

 They found flowers!!

 Just a month ago, there was so much snow all over the country.

 Some areas were hit badly.

My friend, Kristi, lives in South Dakota and WOW have they had snow!

 Some of the drifts are taller than Kristi.  Okay, so Kristi (and I) are not very tall, but this is a lot of snow.

 Being inside all the time can get a little crazy-- even if Lara is reading him a good book.

 Even though it's fun to curl up with toys and blankets, it's REALLY fun to be able to go outside.

 Genghis was thinking... "let's go outside!"

 Papageno said, "yahoo, we're outside!"

 They searched for anything that said, "SPRING." 

 They found a snake, too, but I'm not putting that picture here.  UGH. 

 Spring is coming this month-- we can go outside and be warm, and any snow will melt, and flowers will bloom, trees will get more leaves.   Papageno can't wait!
