FAREWELL SWEET BLOSSOM

Blossom came to me in October of 2017.  I saw that she had trouble walking because of a bad leg injury.  We had xrays done and her back right leg was so bad.  It had obviously had a severe injury.  A screw had been put into the pelvic bones, but it came loose and when we got her, surgery was no longer an option (ligaments had shrunk, things could not be restretched).
The screw was not only disconnected, but there was a break in the bone.
It didn't matter--- Michelle saw her picture and it was love at first sight.
She wanted to adopt this precious little girl.   Blossom went to live with Michelle right after Thanksgiving 2017.
She was adored and loved and had the best home she could have had.
Her hair grew out and she was stunningly beautiful.
Her coloring was so pretty.  She did well, and her leg didn't give her much trouble, but then...
She began to have a lot of trouble.   Many vet visits, and new medications to help her with the pain and mobility were given.
After three weeks of trying, Blossom began to cry-- Michelle held her close to comfort her and this was where Blossom felt the safest.
It is the hardest thing to realize that all we can give is not enough.   Blossom needed to be at peace.
So, this week, Michelle made the most unselfish decision she could-- she let her sweet girl go.
Her heart broke, but Blossom was set free from all the pain.
We remember-- not that she is gone-- but that she was loved, and had life and had joy.  She spread that joy wherever she went.   Michelle is grieving for her girl-- I hope my Nala and Starlight met her. I'm sure they did.   Run like you have not run before, sweet Blossom.  Have fun, play and be without any pain now.   We love you.  💜⭐

  2. Run, beautiful girl! Run! But not so far that when your momma arrives, you'll not hear her voice calling her girl!
