Otis came into rescue in December-- he was a stray. He was in very serious condition and would not have made it much longer on the streets.
His eyes needed help and he received that. He has three eye drops that are used every day.
He is an older Peke-- he sleeps a lot, but he loves to be by his person. He had a very hard life, but it didn't change his sweet demeanor. He will give little kisses to show you he loves you.
He can see some and get around-- he's a little wobbly. That happens when you get old. He can't do stairs, but if you carry him to the yard, he enjoys wandering around. He does need belly bands inside in case he has an accident.
IF you would like to give this old man a home, just let us know. The seniors need love as much as the young ones, and what a difference you can make in their lives. If you are interested, email us at potomacpekes@gmail.com or fill out an application on our web site: Potomac Valley Pekingese Club - Online Application adopt
I love how Potomac gives the seniors a fighting chance and while some are in such horrible attention when they arrive, Potomac still fights to give them whatever amount of time to enjoy the love, food, comfort and shelter until they gain their wings.
