He was a mess. Dirty, matted.
He had vet care and found love in a wonderful foster home with Nikki and her family. He had time for his skin to heal and he had a dental. He was loved. He had good food.
He had nice sweaters for cold days, soft blankets to rest on.
He sometimes fell asleep and had dreams of love.
He had toys available if he wanted to play.
He became a healthy boy.
He didn't mind having doggy friends either. This is Toby, his "brother" while in rescue.

Letting them go, with so much love, means we can help another one.
There are others who can love them as much as we can love them-- so we let them go.
He was held for the trip to his new home. They loved him already.
Oliver is exploring the yard and meeting new friends.
A new world to see.
And then, resting. A long day means a good night of sleep. You are home now, Oliver. Thank you for letting us be part of your life.
