A new normal is in our home now that Kai Kai has left us. (I’ll do a special blog for him.). Mitsy had surgery. Wow, did she have surgery. She had her nasal folds removed and her teeth are now shiny. Her hernias were repaired and the vet found that she was not spayed so that was done. Her ovaries were very large and in bad shape. She was a prime candidate for pyrometra. Now the healing begins. When a dog here has to wear an e collar, I out down a pasta bowl for water. It’s much easier to get a drink.
Mitsy likes Clara and she will follow both of us around the yard. Mitsys vision is not good but she never runs into anything. So, the three of us walk all around and enjoy the morning.
Clara is a little pampered. She ate her breakfast on my
lap. Now she is curled up beside me.
We can enjoy some quiet together.
Paddington was hoping she would share her breakfast but it didn’t happen. Oh well.
