PEANUT-- FAREWELL SWEET BOY

Peanut fought a courageous battle.  Being sick, getting older.
He was his mama's boy-- he even went on a kayak ride with her.   "Captain of the Kayak."
Twins?
I know memories pop up all over. Little things you see, toys you find, dishes you used. Sarah wrote this: "Everything..... EVERYTHING! is a memory. Getting up from my desk chair, I have to check where he is, because he inevitably lies near the wheels. Making lunch, he isn't there to snoopervise me. Taking a shower, he's not peeking in or JUMPING in (been a while since he could do that). Picking up poop in the yard aka poop patrol, he isn't puttering around "helping" by eating a poo or two."
He was so loved.
Older in years meant more naps..  Mom lovingly covered him up.
A special painting came of him--
People posted memories of him-- like staring out in the backyard to solve the world's problems.
Memories of him being dressed up and not wanting any part of it.   Memories of him seeing the "vet man."  He loved giving nose kisses, too.
Peanut's last picture-- comfy on mom's bed, trusting her to make the hardest, but best decision for him.   Even when we know it's time, we hope for a miracle, a "stay" so we can have more time.  Peanut was ready though.  His spirit was good, but his body was tired, so his mom let him go.   He will be remembered with great love, and the sharing that friends do.    Even when they leave us, they will always be in our hearts.  That's where Peanut is-- 💙💗

  3. Peanut and the Logan Gang were a big part of our daily routine. Peanut's Momma knew the time was getting short and she did things that memories are made of with her boy Peanut.

It;s so hard to let go but we try to ease the passage by not thinking of ourselves but putting our Fur Kid's
    ahead.

Peanut will be sorely missed but we know he had the best in life and that was love.
