BG and Maggie both see a cardiologist in North Carolina.
They love the Freddie tent they have. (I know many of you have one.). Maggie is 16 Years old and she and BG both have heart issues.
BG loves sunning on the patio.
BG is one of our permanent fosters. I have her daughter, Minnie as a permanent foster. They were both traumatized and we decided they needed to not be moved again. It’s took several years for BG to relax and be held like this. (Minnie still does not want to be held.)
Maggie and BG both saw the cardiologist this week. It takes a team to monitor dogs with heart conditions. Their owners/foster parents have to give meds on time, monitor respiration for changes, and watch activity levels and any appetite changes.
There is so much that can be done to help dogs w heart issues. BG and Maggie are so fortunate to have people who care and love them so much. And they deserve it.

Do you have a pet with heart issues? Tell us about it. 😀
My dear departed Moi Moi had heart issues but she lived a number of more years with a animal cardiac drug .... go to the Vet as they can really help and I bet there are even better tablets in 2020.
ReplyDeleteOK .... what the hell is a "Freddie Tent" ???????
My Gru will be 10 in January and was just diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension. It’s scary but we have a great team including the cardiologist working with us. Thank you for all you do for the pekes in your care!
