Lily belonged to friends of mine. Mary and Chris adopted Abner seven years ago and we've been friends ever since.
Lily was a beautiful girl-- almost 16 1/2 years old. She went lots of places.
She had lost one eye, but she still got around fine.
They celebrated her birthday.
She was so sweet-- she even visited me at my house in Virginia.
Lily started having health issues about 6 months ago and she was having trouble seeing and getting around.
Her friend, Abner, was right there for her.
So was Patch. They loved their sister.
Lily had symptoms of a brain tumor, which can also effect vision. She was walking into walls, confused. Life was hard. She had seizures.
She was such a stunning girl and had been part of her family a long time.
She's free now, seeing fine, healthy again-- I'm sure so many met her at the Rainbow Bridge. You were greatly loved, sweet girl.
What a beautiful girl Lily was and she will be so missed by the four feet and the two feet in her family.
