They both had minimal care before and both needed help. Their mouths were a mess.
It turned out that Leo had a heart condition and an enlarged prostate. Without an invasive procedure, we can’t know if it’s cancer. But, his heart condition makes anesthesia very risky. We have placed Leo in our hospice care.
But, Gizmo was able to have his dental losing15 teeth. He has a few teeth left. And a friend of rescue wanted to adopt him. Her dog, Penny, had lost all her friends and she needed a friend.
We try to keep pairs together unless we medically need to make a decision We will do all we can for Leo and keep you updated on Gizmo It’s a sad and happy day for his foster mom. Betsy has given so much of herself Thank you! Have a great life Gizmo!
Gizmo will make a wonderful friend for Penny.
