Please excuse the non-Peke blog today. It's not often that you get to celebrate a 40th birthday!
My daughter, Molly, is 40 today! She is a dog magnet! She has a PhD and is a college professor at a university in our area. She is a mom, a daughter, a sister,an aunt, and a friend to many. She rescued Mattie three years ago-- in a crate by a bank. Molly has rescued so many. She's in the right place at the right time. She has also rescued people. It's amazing.
Yes, that's me. Molly was about 1 1/2 to 2 and Meghann was in kindergarten I think. We were a family of three (my husband had died in a plane crash) and we were tight and full of love. We still are. Don't mess with us. We. Are. A. Family!Look at them-- my beautiful girls.
She's mom to Callie-- who was a rescue, heartworm positive. Callie is about 12 now. An old girl.
She rescued Barty two years ago. Another dog in very bad shape. But, he's happy and healthy now. Molly has a great sense of humor-- yes, we had on "head bands" for a game we were playing with Sugar Bit and Beach Bit.
Her kids are her life.
She is a great aunt, too. These are two of the Bits years ago, story time!
I'm so proud of both of my girls. They make such a difference in the lives of young people. Meghann teaches high school and is incredible.
Happy Birthday to my precious daughter! Let's Celebrate!!
We wish you a wonderful 40th Birthday Molly !!

Happy Birthday Molly. You have an extraordinary mother and you are part of a tightly woven family pod , something many people lack in their life.
