It's been almost a year since the Potomac Six came into rescue. Sissy was one of them.
All six were so sweet. But, most were not trained, having never been on the grass. And they all needed a lot of medical care-- vaccines, dentals, spay and neuter. Bloodwork and 4DX panels. One has pyometra, and needed emergency care. She got it.Sissy and Bogie loved each other, but Sissy would curl up with others, too. Zoey didn't mind.
Paddington was her "watch the yard" buddy.
Sissy and Zoey and Bogie shared the big bed. Sissy is about 12 and Bogie was 2-3, a youngster. He had lots of energy. Sissy liked to nap. Bogie was adopted and is doing great. He gets so much attention-- more because there are three people to give it and only 2 dogs are there. He has someone around almost all the time and when he is alone, he has Sugar, a white Peke adopted from us. And when people come home, Bogie gives them greetings like no other dog can! WOW.
Sissy has been nicknamed "Sissy-Missy" but sometimes she is "Sissy-Sassy." LOL She can be a bossy little thing and tell visitors or other dogs the way to go! Little stinker.
She does try to help at times. I think most Pekes love laundry. But, can she fold it??
Sissy will have her ears rechecked next week. It will also be her yearly check up. Amazing how much time has gone by. She's such a sweet girl. I think she loves being here. 💜
Oh they look so healthy and well !
