He was in a shelter near me and seemed like a sweet boy.
Marian fostered him, but he wasn't there long.
He went to his new home, meeting his new mom and dad at the yearly picnic.
He was with his new family almost five years. He had a brother named Chip. So sweet.
Like many Pekes, Sunny lost one of his eyes.
We thought he was about 5 when we got him, but he could have been older.
I love this picture, with one of the dumbbell toys that my Chumley loved so much.
Sunny moved to Hawaii with his family and I'm sure he loved it there.
He had a tongue with a black area on it. (Some Pekes have this.)
Sunny began to have some hip issues and the beginning of dementia. It can begin younger than we usually expect.
He was cared for and loved.
He had a medical emergency, and they realized it was time to let him be free of all his physical problems. He left them gently and is now running free. He will be missed. 💙 He was so loved.
Oh dear Sunny .... you had 5 years of love and kindness but I know his family would wish it was more.
ReplyDeleteHugs to beautiful Sunny's family - he will be so missed.
