CASHEW GOES TO FOSTER

A shelter near me asked if we could help. 

Cashew was found as a stray.  That always surprises me.  

They are so small- how do they survive out there on their own? 

He went to one of the shelters foster homes.  He had a nice bath. 

And then they took him to meet his PVPC foster mom. Thank you helping!!

Rita adopted Mattie and Benny from us.  And now she’s fostering Cashew. 

He likes a special treat.  

Rita said, “Cashew is doing well, no issues at all between him and Mattie.  He sleeps all night, no accidents in the house.  He loves to be outside, not so much walking but sitting or lying in the grass just watching the world go by.  He spends a lot of time looking out the window too.  He doesn't bark at other dogs or people, the only time he barks is when he is playing with one of his little tennis balls and it rolls under the sofa. When he can't get it out, he barks for me to get it for him!”

Mattie is enjoying having a friend again.  

Cashew “Cash” sees the vet today and we will do the protocol we set up for each new foster.   He is about 17 pounds and 8 years old (estimate).   We’re so glad he came to rescue.  ❤️
