Diamond came to us with very dry eyes. (pictures below without her eyes-- )
One eye was formed well but the other never formed fully (or was injured at some point).
She was totally blind, and the eye treatment was not helping to lubricate her eyes. She wasn't comfortable. She had her eyes removed and she is doing well. Her foster mom, Jenn, has a special touch with her and Diamond knows she is close.
She has been improving steadily and can find her way around. Blind dogs are amazing.
She has found her favorite spot to take a nap. Her hair on her face will grow back and her medical care for her skin will continue. Diamond is a precious and sweet girl. She is happy and loving. She will be available for adoption once her medical care is complete.
Big kisses to Diamond!
ReplyDeleteYou heal real good and then I will do my adoption dance for you sweetie !
