Fletch came into rescue 9 years ago this month.
He was in a NC shelter and an owner turn in. He was so thin, but the shelter saw hope in his eyes. They asked us to help. He began to eat well and gain weight. If a dog is very thin, you need to be cautious w their eating. Lots of small meals, not a normal portion to begin w. Slowly giving them a chance to expand their stomach and not getting sick which a large meal can go. It takes time to gradually bring a dog back to a healthy weight.
Fletch found the perfect family in NC. They cherish their boy.
Fletch was 6 we think when we got him. So he’s an old man at 15. I love the older ones. Happy ninth rescue year Fletch. We’re so glad you came to us to begin your new life.
Happy 9th rescue Fletch...... so beautiful !!
