Sissy came from a back yard breeder. She was kept inside (never going outside) and I don’t know how many litters she had. She is a senior and after a failed adoption, she was returned to me. Look at her smile.
However, there are times when we get one-or two in this case- who have just been kept to breed. Over and over. Medical care has been non existent. And when the breeder is done w them, they become the cast offs. No thought. Just take them to a shelter or worse. This little girl is one of them. She is small, blind and half of one ear is missing. Will we help? Yes. This one was part of that group, too. The “breeder” (I know good, reputable, high quality breeders. They do exceptional jobs. They care for their dogs as their family. They sell only to approved, well checked out homes. They don’t sell over the internet to just anyone. But these two girls didn’t come from that type of place. They need our help more than many. They are coming into rescue today. We hope we can find them great, loving and patient homes. We don’t have names for them yet. Sherry is getting them both today. Are you up for helping one who has had very little. They will need to learn to live in a home, learn that good food is available and that love is there.
