Henrietta went in to have her spay and hernia surgery. To make sure she was okay, the vet at Acredale Animal Hospital (Virginia Beach) rechecked her heart w ultrasound and it’s not enlarged and the muscles are good. We rechecked her red cell count and that was improved, too. She had her surgery and I was able to bring her home.
She was probably wondering what in the world happened to her.
She has pain meds and she will heal quickly. I think we are sometimes in worse shape than they are in our concern for them.
She is resting and will be watched carefully. (Her e collar was off so she could eat.). Surgery is behind her.
Time to move forward. 💕
Henrietta the worse is done and now to heal and feel so much better.
