RAY RAY-- SHY BOY

Ray Ray came into rescue in October 2022.
He was turned into a rural shelter by a breeder.  He had been a stud dog for years.
He suffered trauma and abuse prior to being rescued.  😢. But, he is learning to trust a little.
He is slow to approach strangers.   He will need a patient adopter.
Ray Ray has no idea what a leash is since he was never exposed to one.   If you put it on, he will stand there. He doesn’t know what to do.  So, a fenced yard to a must.
He will let you know when he needs to go out.  He’s hesitant about doors but that will improve w time.   He will come back inside on his own.
Ray Ray doesn’t have any aggression.   He’s been so good w his foster parents, his vet, the groomer.  He’s so good.
He will let people pick him up and is more comfortable if they go slow so he won’t be scared.
He loves to be in your lap.  He’s getting used to being loved after a life of no affection.   He’s come so far.  He will stay w you as long as you want to hold him.
Ray Ray is fully vetted   He’s been neutered and had a dental   He does need thyroid medicine because of low thyroid, but it’s easy to give.  He would like to have a slow pace, quiet home    We think he’s 8-10 so he has many years left

Ray Ray needs a patient owner who has love to give this precious boy.  An owner who will show him that he will never be hurt again.

If you are interested in Ray Ray, please fill out an application on our web site.
