FAREWELL JOSIE

We were asked to help Josie while her mom was deployed.   

When Kyna rescued her 12 years ago the vet estimated her age at 2-4.  

So, Josie could have been 14-16.  

Barbara and Ty offered to take care of Josie.

Kyna knew her precious girl would be cared for.    

Josie was a joy to have with them.   She had mobility issues, but she even "ran" in the yard sometimes.  It was so sweet to watch.

Ty took such good care of her.  He took on all her care since he was an early riser.   Every morning he would  clean her up, take her out, hand feed her, bathe and brush her…  She couldn't eat on her own, and Ty loved holding her and helping her eat.  

He would come down each morning to find her sitting in the front of her pen watching for him.  So loving.   Ty loved this sweet girl, and gave her everything her mom would have done if she was there.

Last week, he came down to get her, but she had passed away in her sleep.   

She was so loved-- by her mom and by Barbara and Ty.   

Josie had 12 years of love and care.   She was a precious, sweet girl.  Run free now, little one.
