When she was at the shelter, I was stunned by her condition. But, we took her into rescue and she was temporarily fostered by my friend, Susan.
Tina's healing began. Her elephant skin and lack of hair was from fleas and neglect-- but we can fix that!Through it all, she was SO SWEET. Look at her face, part way through treatment. I'm falling in love all over again. It was hard to tell her age, but we thought she was 2-3 years old. Her hair began to come in, and she loved toys! Her foster moms decided they would keep her-- she brought such life into her home. She was JOY!! Pure Joy!
Tina is older now-- but her exuberance is still there.
I know she wasn't a Pekingese but I'm so glad she came into rescue for help. She was at the vet this week for her yearly check up and she got a perfect report. And she loved everyone while she was there. Tina, happy and perfect! 💜
Tiny Tina.... I do remember her when she came into rescue and hasn't she bloomed into a PPP - Pretty Pretend Peke!!!
