TOLSTOY-- DOES HE EVER SMILE?

Someone asked the other day what Tolstoy's story was.  She is new to our Facebook page and had just seen his picture.   

Tolstoy was part of the Maryland 5 group that we took in last year.    He was Jabba then.   

All the dogs in that group had "sad faces" but Tolstoy had the saddest.   

He can make you feel so sorry for him.   

Don't believe him.  

He's the happiest dog EVER.  

I see Tolstoy aka "Toasty" on a regular basis-- he's my granddog.  

He is quite a character.  He's sitting on his brother here.   

He does get a lot of attention for his face.   

People go "AWE."

And he gets so many snuggles.  People just can't resist.  

But, his sad face is just his face.   You've heard of "resting b... face."   Well, Tolstoy had "resting sad face."   What can you do?

He is a HAPPY boy!  I can see a little grin there.  

Yep, it's there.  

"Do you have a treat?"

There it is!   Our happy happy boy.   So, if he looks sad, don't worry.  He's not.   It's "just his face."  😀
