FINLEY -- DNA

We all seem to love seeing DNA results.  Look at his eyes! 

Finley is my grand dog-- he's a BIG boy.

He's not really a king LOL.  But I wouldn't go in the house if he didn't know me.     

Many of you gave your guesses on his DNA.   Some guessed Catahoula, Hound, Boxer, Lab, Retriever, Aussie, Cattle dog, Huskey...  And he has zero Peke in him.  LOL  

He's such a mama's dog. :-) 

The DNA part that surprised me was Kritikos Lagonikos.  I've never heard of it.   It from the Island of Crete in Greece.  It dates before 3000 BC.   WOW.  Their temperament is gentle and affectionate, which he is.   He's a big baby.   (But his bark is HUGE.)

Finley is great with kids, and he's also shy-- so sometimes, he heads upstairs if there are visitors.  He's 100% sweet.

29.22% Golden Retriever

12.63% Labrador Retriever

12.52% Siberian Husky

12.5% Boxer

12.15% American Staffordshire Terrier

10.21% Kritikos Lagonikos  (WHAT?) 

What did you think he was?   Are you surprised?   I am on some of them.   But, whatever he is, he's a great dog.
