Sunny (formerly Tang) came into rescue in 2017. She was in rough shape. We had helped her mom to get meds for her, and so had other rescues.
We helped her with eye drops and other things. But, to make the meds "last longer" they weren't given every day. Her mom was doing the best she could, but she just didn't realize you can't space out medications and eye drops and expect them to work. Her mom decided she needed to let her girl go to rescue and Dale ended up fostering and adopting her. She was only 8.5 pounds, very thin. But that can be fixed with good food and care.
Sunny had a little sister, Ginger. Dale wasn't sure if Ginger wanted a sister, but they ended up being good friends. Ginger passed away shortly before Sunny. A double heart break for Dale.
Sunny had an incredible mom and doggy siblings for 7 years. They were the best years of her life. Run free now sweet girl. 💕
Big hugs to you Dale.... to have two go to the rainbow bridge in a short time is so hard.
ReplyDeleteThey were beautiful girls and I know you will miss Sunny so much! XXX
