Guinness came into rescue in 2023. He was such a beautiful and sweet boy, we couldn't imagine why he was in a shelter.
Several of us met Rita in Williamsburg, had lunch and she adopted her boy in November last year. Off he went to his new life.
Rita said, "he was a sweet and gentle boy who stuck to me like my shadow and loved everyone. "
We thought he was perfect. 😍Rita said, "he was a sweet and gentle boy who stuck to me like my shadow and loved everyone. "
He had outfits to keep him warm when it was cold.
He and his mom went to Florida in the winter, but it was still chilly there.
He loved his toy to cuddle with.
His smile was contagious. Just looking at him made us want to smile back.
He was so easy going.
He met dogs and people on his walks-- everyone was a friend.
Guinness began having kidney disease. He was doing well and had all the care he needed-- and more.
He began going down recently and was hospitalized several times. He was not eating and he let him mom know it was time. It's the hardest message to receive from a beloved pet.
Guiness crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He is back home now but forever present in Rita's heart-- and many others who loved him. Run free sweet one-- see Cash and Mattie and Benjamin-- all PVPC Pekes who were there to meet you. 💙
