I’ve been keeping a close eye on Gwennie since I’ve had her. She had the stomach issues (and dehydration) from eating things she shouldn’t. All of that is much better. But I saw a few things that needed a check. I told her we were headed to the vet.
She tried to hide. I can see you Gwennie. 😂They all had breakfast. I found out from her previous home that Gwennie liked table food. That’s a no-go in my house. She has had special food w chicken on a plate. Yes! She will only eat off a plate w me sitting by her. It’s ok. I’ll help her. She doesn’t know I’ve been mixing in ground up Hills ID (sensitive stomach food). We had some couch time first. Coffee is a must. And look who was beside her. Cinnamon! Piper joined us too. At the vet, Katie heard she was there She rushed down to get some time w Gwennie. Katie adores her there’s even a note on her chart that says this I love my vet and staff The front desk staff had to take turns holding her. 😍Then we sat down to wait for our turn. Gwennie still had an ear infection, and it needs more time to heal. Her spay incision— from 7 weeks ago — was giving her some problems. That’s very unusual. The stitches have usually dissolved by then. They found one trying to surface and took care of that. I’m putting some medicine on it until it looks better. She was so good at the vet. Sweet girl. She had lost weight when she was sick but she’s gained some back. On the way home, a truck pulled out right in front of us. My brakes stopped us so fast. Gwennie had her seatbelt on and it kept her from being hurt. I was so grateful. (Only use a seatbelt w a harness.)Back home, everyone was glad she was back. Even Paddington. They’ve all done really great together. I know Gwennie was glad to be back w her friends. 🥰

Hoping Gwennie is getting back to health !
