Most of you know that Toasty lives in New York (Brooklyn) now. He isn't that far from the 9/11 site. My granddaughter told me there were a lot of remembrance things going on.
She sent me a picture of the Statue of Liberty from her running path.
And this. Brings chills as we remember.
Toasty is becoming a New Yorker (4 more years of grad school) so he and his girl see it with new eyes. So many changes in 25 years-- but we still remember.
Will never forget that night (for me ... watching it live on TV in Australia) .

Jim was in a plane and ended up in Newfoundland for a week with the nicest humans ever! One family had him call home to let is know he was okay and safe!
