CINNAMON AND SPIDERS

I know mentioning spiders made you cringe.  Did you know that we see more spiders in autumn?   I’ve noticed some big ones!
I think one stung Cinnamon.  There was a big swollen area on her left “lip.”   She didn’t bother it.  It was definitely a hard swollen spot.   My first reaction was “go to the vet.”   But I decided to watch it, gave her some allergy meds.  It didn’t seem painful when I touched it. It didn’t get in the way of her eating.
None of the rest have been stung.  Pippi and Paddington are glad they’re ok.
Gwennie would chase a spider if she saw one. 😩

Spiders are inside and out.
Cinnamon’s mouth is better. The swelling is gone and the pink spot is smaller.    Have you seen spiders where you live?  I haven’t seen so many before.

  1. Spiders...... we have the deadly Red Back Spider that can be under a flowerpot or near a water bowls etc.
Luckly Yum Yum has not been bitten but he did have a bee sting and his face swelled up a treat!
If he was bitten by a Red Back we would have to go to the Vet Pronto for the anti vacc. and hope it works and we are not too late !
We are so careful around the garden as they are deadly to humans too.
